Weaving A Little Hope
During these unprecedented times we currently all live in, we need to take care of ourselves and one each other.
Reality bites hard for all of us but bites harder for some others who are in truly vulnerable situations such as refugees in camps, homeless people and women-victims of domestic violence.
I would like to thank you all for your support and in return forward it further by donating a percentage of all purchases to two charity organisations (links below). This backdates to all orders since the beginning of March.
SOLACE WOMEN’S AID - https://www.solacewomensaid.org/
No woman should face the impossible choice of staying safe from Coronavirus or domestic abuse. For many women, home is not a safe place, but a place of abuse and violence and the prospect of staying at home for a long period leads to worry and fear for the women and children we support. We need your support to make sure we are there for them when they call, when they need somewhere safe to sleep.
CHOOSE LOVE - HELP REFUGEES - www.helprefugees.org
In the face of coronavirus, refugees need our support more than ever. We know that this is an insecure time for many, but if you are able, please give what you can to support refugees facing the pandemic today.
Every penny raised goes directly to our partners working on the ground, and will enable us to:
- Increase our support to medical organisations providing doctors and nurses to those who have none
- Provide emergency isolation accommodation for the sick
- Distribute tens of thousands of bars of soap and bottles of hand sanitiser
