Whether we like to believe it or not we are all impacted by what is 'trending'. Trends are not temporary. Contrary to popular opinion, they continue to evolve through time, flowing into new iterations of the same movement. At the moment in which society is growing increasingly environmentally and ethically conscious, it is essential that we look at how aesthetic trends build up into long-term trends.

Harking back to simpler times and a growing hypersensitivity to the world around us, clients and designers are gravitating towards the handmade. Years of traditional craftsmanship are being celebrated and old practices reignited by a new generation.
What's more, there's been a significant upturn in the number of suppliers releasing artisanal collections. This correlates with the growing movement in design for perfectly imperfect spaces and objects.
